Bonalbo Golf Course is a nine hole course winding around the banks of Peacock Creek in the village of Bonalbo in the Upper Clarence Valley.

The course comprises four par four holes, four par three holes and a par five hole, giving a nine hole par of 33.  With alternate tees on each hole, an eighteen hole par or 66 is achieved.  The course is rated at 63 (ACR).

The course is challenging, with many water hazards and tight fairways, rewarding the accurate hitting, thinking golfer.  There are three large water holes and a small creek on the course as well as the main creek winding along the boundary.

The course has been built on leased and club-owned land mainly by voluntary labour over the past ten to fifteen years.  The course and greens are fully grassed, with trees and shrubs delineating the fairways.

The Bonalbo Golf Club is a subsidiary of the Bonalbo Bowling and Recreation Club, having access to the parent club’s facilities consisting of air conditioned bar, kitchen, ten poker machines, function, TV and meeting rooms and a covered outdoor barbecue area.

Catered meals are available on Open Days and pre-arranged social days.  A restaurant operated on Thursday and Friday nights.

Reticulation facilities enable the use of recycled effluent and stored water for the irrigation of greens and tees.  Fairways are fully grassed with natural grass, mainly paspalum and kikuyu.
