Returning to Casino golf club once
again, golfers will notice various
improvements that have taken place over
the last year. Greens are in excellent
condition and fairways are well grassed.
The three new greens are providing
golfers with added variety and the
planting of trees and shrubs to define
fairways has added to the beauty of
the course. Bird life is a feature,
enriched by the addition of more ponds
and waterways. Undulating with
generous fairways hitting into tricky
greens, makes Casino Golf course a
challenge for low markers and the
average golfer alike.

AMENITIES
Upgrading of the clubhouse amenities
continues with the installation of air
conditioning and the latest beer system
available. TAB, Sky, Keno, gaming, ATM,
members bottle shop and the Fairway
Restaurant all provide members with a
comfortable environment to relax in after
golf, or to simply enjoy the panoramic
view over the course or the Jabiru
wetlands.
Bingo on Mondays and Thursday, and
morning melodies every two to three
weeks entertain social members as well.
The Restaurant is open for lunch and
dinner from Wednesday through to
Sunday, with excellent Chinese or
Australian meals.

SERVICES
Resident professional for four years, Ian
Halliday provides a service to members
envied by many. A Pro Shop fully stocked
with new and second hand golf
equi pment, situated near the
clubhouse makes shopping out of town
unnecessary. lessons are available, as are motorised carts.
TOURING POINTS
Casino is easily reached by road and rail.
A wide range of comfortable motel and
hotel accommodation is available and
famous north coast beaches are not far
away.
But Casino has its own claim to fame
as the 'Beef Capital'' and we celebrate
this annually during 'Beef week', in the
second half of May. The growing
program of entertainments and activities
is geared to please all ages and tastes,
and visitors come from far and wide to
enjoy this event and share the festivities.
