Teven Golf Club was formed in 1995 by a group of golf enthusiasts who wished to get together on Saturday mornings, play 9 or 18 holes of golf
and then solve the problems of the world over coffee!
Some years on as more members joined it was decided to run the Club as
an incorporated entity and so Teven Golf Club, Inc was established in
1998.

So, we are unique in that we operate our Club independently yet with an
agreement in place that offers members certain rights and privileges,
discounts etc.

| MEMBERSHIP
Open to men,
ladies and juniors, the Club has about 70 members. The Mens' section is
affiliated with the Australian Golfing Union and members hold an AGU
handicap which enables them to play in events at other Clubs Australia
wide.

The Ladies section is in the process of affiliating
with Women's Golf Australia and at 1st July 2004 will be able to offer
to members a WGA handicap.
Membership is offered to male and
female golfers at a rate of $70 per year with a $20 joining fee.
Juniors pay the joining fee plus $30 per year.

COMPETITIONS
The Club runs a full program of events including an 18 hole stroke Medal round each month.
Men play Saturdays early ( 6-8am depending on the season) ladies on Wednesdays ( 8-9am ).
Matchplay Championship takes place during April. |

| Club Championship is during August.
The Captain's Cup was introduced in 2003 and is played at the end of September prior to the Club's AGM.
An Eclectic also runs through the year from March to September.
“AWAY” EVENTS
Each year the Club sponsors two “away” weekends. Members are encouraged
to join the Club at Tenterfield Golf Club in May, and Maclean/Yamba
Golf Clubs in August when we play our own competitions and members may
join in the host club events as well. Always well supported and lots of
fun.
