NRDGA Foursomes Winners

Sunday March 3rd saw 78 golfers play in the NRDGA Foursomes Championships at the Iluka Golf Club. As is usual at these events the host club hospitality and organisation was brilliant, thanks especially to Graeme and Peter.
After 18 holes is was a log jam for both the Gross and Nett with very good scores returned. Some fell away while others consolidated their advantage.
After 27 holes a playoff was needed and on the first hole a solid par 3 the Coolangatta Tweed pair of Gavin Landon and Glenn Papworth claimed the trophy from Ballina’s Jaye Crocker and JP Mullaly.
The overall nett went to Lismore President Tim Gilmore and partner Adam Rhodes.

Weather was great, course was excellent and hospitality first rate, next year we head to Woodburn Evans Head on Sunday the 1st March, so line up a partner and see you there.
