Unfortunately, I must advise that the NRDGA Championships at Byron Bay this Sunday the 23^rd have been cancelled. I had just finished the preliminary draw this morning when I was notified that all golf played at regional and district level was to stop as of 19^th August, the directive was from the NSW Govt dept of sport and recreation and Golf NSW. This has been done to help reduce the spread of Covid 19 by players coming from other clubs in the district and mixing with other golfers and staff.

If possible, we may be able to reschedule later or play in conjunction with another event but until this restriction is rescinded, we cannot proceed.

Thank you for nominating it was looking like a great day with a field heading towards 100 players.
