NRDGA Mixed Foursomes – 2020

Another NRDGA Mixed Foursomes has come and gone. This year at Coraki on a gorgeous winters day with a great field of 84 players.

As usual and very hard to beat Coraki had the day well organised, the course set up and presentation was first class and the scores reflected the quality of those attending with special thanks to Coolangatta Tweed and in particular Pete Francis for bring down 26 players.

It was pleasing to see everyone following the Covid regulations and well done to the staff and Directors for their efforts, President Greg Scurr and Captain Bob Grasby led there team of volunteers to again set the bar very high for others to follow.

The winners from Ballina, Kelsey Bennett and Kyle Underwood   shot a great 1 under par 107 for 27 holes to win by 4 shots from Jackson Wright and Sheri Forsythe of Maclean great golf also and from their 3 handicap would have won the overall nett. Coolangatta/Tweed Captain Neil Kingston playing with Anne Russell from Murwillumbah won the nett with 108.
