Results from Ballina incl. OOM Update and adjusted 9 hole handicaps

Posted on: 14 July

In our first NRDGA event since March due to the difficult weather conditions within the Northern Rivers, a good field assembled for the Junior Open Day at Ballina Golf & Sports Club.

Whilst not able to match it with the Sydney metropolitan boys over 36 holes, Sam Adams (CTH) was the best performing NRDGA player in the Junior Boys event.  Sam just held out his brother Ben (CTH) and a further 8 other competitors from NRDGA clubs.  Young Annalese McKee (Grafton) was the best performing WGNR player in the Junior Girls competition.  Playing of a handicap of 14 at a very young age, Annalese recorded both the best gross and net scores over 36 holes.

A few new faces in the Cadet Boys 9 hole event saw Jackson Whitty (Ballina) take out the gross prise and Ethan Robb (Ballina) was the net winner.
