A beautiful day for our first comp of the year at Coraki. We had some great competition and big smiles on the winner’s fac
es.
Especially some very enthusiastic 9 holers who were loving it out there! Well done to Jesse Engebretson on a great round to claim 1st place.
A tight competition for the 18 hole players with George Jones taking out the Gross win with a fantastic round of 2 over par, great golf George!! A narrow 1 shot victory over Willy Harris.
Willy ended up taking out 1st Nett prize, well done Willy. 2nd place in Nett was a tie for Stella and Harrison after 2 nearest the pins for Stella (which puts the girls 2 up in nearest pins, but who’s counting) and a PB of breaking 80 for her first time ever!
Another highlight and proving a close match, was Zane narrowly outdriving his sister Tana by only 2m with an approximate 290m drive on the 16th. For those interested, the 16th for the girls was 82.5% in length compared to the boys and it came down to a 2m difference in longest drive. Bring on Ocean Shores.
