After 2 aborted events due to rain and a saturated course we finally held the NRDGA Mixed
Foursomes at Woodburn Evans Head Golf Club on Sunday the 12th October. Weather was
perfect and the course in great condition after 5 weeks of fine weather. Most clubs were
represented, with Mullumbimby supplying a good contingent to compliment the host club
numbers. The players appreciate the host club hospitality with both breakfast and lunch
supplied. Thanks to WEH for hosting and especially Pete, Sue, and Bernadette.
Winners were Mullumbimby pair of Natasha Faux and Adam Bullock with 105 hits. The nett
went to locals Melissa Clarke and former Captain John Robinson Jnr. with 102.5 on a count
back.
