McKee Shines, Baker Breaks 90, and Weather Delivers at 2025 NRDGA Junior Championships
The 2025 Annual NRDGA Junior Championships served up two spectacular days of junior golf over the weekend of September 13–14, with Grafton and Yamba Golf Clubs once again playing co-hosts to the prestigious 36-hole event.
Day one in Grafton saw a thrilling finish, with a playoff deciding the round. While local favourite Annalese McKee narrowly missed the win in the playoff, she bounced back in dominant fashion on day two at Yamba. Showing composure and consistency, McKee held off a strong challenge from Noah Adey to not only take the daily win—but cruise to the overall NRDGA Championship title by an impressive 7-shot margin.
In the Nett standings, it was a tight battle between Stella Payne and Stone Cannon, who were locked in a tie before Stella edged ahead on countback. But the story of the day belonged to Chloe Baker, who stormed into first place with a sensational personal best—5 under her handicap and breaking 90 for the very first time. Her late surge leapfrogged both Stella and Stone to claim the Nett title in dramatic fashion.
Perfect weather, great crowds, and top-quality golf made the 2025 NRDGA Junior Championships a weekend to remember.
